If you are unsure whether the counties you have visited are at risk of malaria please contact us before you visit one of our blood donation clinics to avoid a wasted journey.

The Welsh Blood Service is pleased to announce that it is once again able to accept blood donations from donors 6 months after their return from a country in which there is a malaria risk.

All donors must also meet the other eligibility criteria for donating blood. Please contact us if you are unsure about your eligibility to donate blood.
