Are you aged between 17 and 66 years old or an existing donor under 72?
If you are aged 72 or older, have you successfully donated within the last two years?
Do you weigh over 50kg (7st 12lbs)?
If you’re a female under 20 years old, and you’re under 5ft6 or 10st 3lb (65kg) please click here.
If you are male, have you given blood in the past 12 weeks (limited to 4 donations a year)?
If you are female, have you given blood in the past 16 weeks (limited to 3 donations a year)?
Were you born or have you lived outside the UK for 6 months or more?
Have you had a covid vaccination in the last 48 hours or any other vaccination (excluding flu vaccinations) in last 8 weeks?
Have you received a blood transfusion or transplanted material (whole blood, platelets or plasma) since 1st January 1980?
In the past 4 months have you had a needlestick or other injury or any treatment that involved piercing of the skin?
e.g. tattoo, piercing, acupuncture, complementary therapy.
Have you been pregnant in the last 6 months or are you pregnant now?
Have you had dental treatment in the last 7 days?
Have you ever been diagnosed with a serious illness? e.g. cancer, HIV, heart condition, stroke, or epilepsy.
Are you waiting to see a doctor, dentist, or any type of healthcare person or awaiting results of investigations?
Have you had an endoscopy (magic eye) in the last 4 months?
If you have not donated in the last two years, are you taking any medication*?
If you have donated in the last two years, are there any new medication* or dosage changes you have not told us about?
*Excluding HRT or birth control
Have you been in contact with anyone with an infectious disease in the last 4 weeks?
